A beer named for everyone’s favorite Shiba Inu.
There were some issues with the grain bill and the amount of two row included. We “think” we resolved it, but the beer looks like it will come out much stronger than we anticipated. This maxed our system and was likely the hardest beer we ever brewed. We have also entered this beer into the Bluebonnet Brew-off to be judged in March.

13 Gallon Preboil Volume, 11 Gallon Postboil Volume. 90 minute boil.

Final Gravity:1.012

28 lbs - American 2 Row
6 lbs  - Munich Light
2 lbs  - Cara Red
1/2 lb - Cara Munich
1/2 lb - Roasted Barley
1 lb of Rice Hulls (Separate)

Boil (hops in pellet form):

2.0 oz.    - Columbia Hops 10.5AA          @60
2.0 oz.    - Centennial 9.7AA              @30
2.0 oz.    - Simcoe 11.9AA                 @15
Yeast Nutrient and Whirflock Tablet        @10

Dry Hop (hops in pellet form):

2.0 oz.    - Simcoe 11.9AA                 
2.0 oz.    - Amarillo 8.2AA
Yeast – USE STARTER:
California Ale Yeast WLP001 (on PROPPER)
