A stout in disguise… that’s right, a white stout. We brewed up this stout to serve at Lunar Rendezbrew 29 on June 3rd in Pearland, TX.
(5 gallon batch)

Pre-Boil Gravity: 1.043
Original Gravity: 1.062
Final Gravity: 1.012
ABV: 6.6%
                                                                                      

Fermentables:
11 lbs.  - American Two Row
2 lbs. Flaked Barley
4 oz. Pale Chocolate
9 oz. Carafoam
9 oz. Vienna
2 oz. Cacao Nibs (Last five minutes of boil)
2 lbs. Clear Belgian Candi Sugar (Last five minutes of boil)

Boil (hops in pellet form):

1.5oz. -  Fuggles (5.6 AA)                @60
0.5 oz. - East Kent Goldings (4.8 AA)     @30
0.5 oz. - East Kent Goldings (4.8 AA)     @10
*Yeast Nutrient and Whirflock Tablet      @10

Dry Hop:

2 oz. Cacao Nibs (3 days in mesh bag)
4 oz. Steep Cold Coffee (Black Rifle Company Space Bear Light Roast)
2 Vanilla Beans (at kegging)

Yeast:
White Labs WLP002 English Ale
