One of the key requirements of the Master Homebrewer Program is to brew things outside of your comfort zone. This may include lagers, meads, sours, and ciders. We created this citric cider for the Red Earth Brewer’s Spring Brew-off. We wanted something refreshing and light for the summertime.
(2 gallon batch)

Original Gravity: 1.055
Final Gravity: 1.000
ABV: 7.3%
                                                                                      

Fermentables:
2 gallons of fresh, unfiltered apple juice
1 cup of orange blossom honey
1/2 cup of lime juice (10-12 medium limes)
1/2 cup of lemon juice (7-8 medium lemons)
1/2 cup of orange juice (3-4 large oranges)
1 cup of fresh mint leaves

*Yeast Nutrient & 2 campden tablets

Yeast:
Lalvin EC-1118 Yeast
