In the case of this red IPA, the wife had the final say, and this beer remained home during our recent adventure to Boot Brew Fest in Eunice, Louisiana. ‘ULA’ULA PIA – Hawaiian for Red Beer This is a double dry hopped specialty IPA. We would have liked the red to have come through a bit more, but this is a smooth, easy drinking, nice IPA. We entered this into the second annual Eureka Heights Lupulin Quest Homebrew Competition but did not podium.
