The Hazy IPA preferred by ninjas everywhere. Ryu agrees.

This beer is our first attempt at a Hazy IPA, and we are planning to enter it into the 6th Anniversary brew competition at Bakfish Brewery.

Original Gravity: 1.060
Final Gravity: 1.017
ABV: 5.64%
                                                                                    

Fermentables:

20 lbs.    - 2 Row
3  lbs.    - Flaked Oak
2  lbs.    - Golden Naked Oat
1  lb.     - Flaked Wheat
1  lb.     - Crystal 10
1/2 lb.    - Carapils

Boil/Steep:

6.0     - Columbus WHOLE (16.2 AA)      @20
8.0     - Azaca PELLET   (11.4 AA)      20 minutes steep at hop break


Dry Hop: (pellets) 

Round One: Day Three
2.0     - Comet  (9.5 AA) 
2.0     - Azaca  (11.4 AA) 

Round Two: Day Eleven
2.0     - Comet (9.5 AA) 
2.0     - Azaca (11.4 AA) 

 
Yeast – STARTER:
Imperial Yeast - Ale Juice IYA38

Special Instructions:
Yeast Nutrient: Fermaid
Whirlfloc tablets: 2
10 Gallon Batch.
