Paper Boy

Dodge a dog, hop a fence, fire a newspaper through a window, and get chased down the street by an old woman in curlers. Who didn’t like the paperboy adventure?!

1.5 lbs.  - Chocolate Malt
1 lb.   - Caramel Crystal 40
1 lb.   - Caramel Crystal 60
0.5 lb. - Dark Wheat
0.5 lb. - Roasted Barley

1 lbs   - Flaked Wheat
0.5 lb. - Black Prinz
(Flaked Wheat and Black Prinz added to mash second with about 25 minutes to go, on the top of the sparge.)

Boil (hops in pellet form):

2.0 oz. - Fuggles            (4.7 AA)                  @60
1.0 oz. - East Kent Goldings (5.9 AA)                  @10
1.0 oz. - East Kent Goldings (5.9 AA)                  @Whirlpool

Yeast – USE STARTER:
Wyeast - American Ale 1056

Special Instructions:
11.5 Gallon Recipe, Preboil of 14 Gallons. We boiled for ~90 minutes.
24 oz. of pecans added to secondary. Chop and dry/roast in oven before adding. Tincture in vodka.
