It’s been a while since we’ve brewed a good hop forward IPA so we are going to organize the hell outta this one and see what we can produce…  12 gallon batch (a little more than 10 gallons going into the fermenter). This beer salutes Duck Hunt, and every person that has ever wanted to shoot that giggle canine when you missed a bird.

Original Gravity: 1.067
Final Gravity: 1.015
ABV: 6.9%
                                                                                       

Fermentables:
14 lbs. - American 2 Row
12 lbs. - Marris Otter
2 lb.   - Carapils
½ lb.   - Crystal 40
½ lb.   - Carafoam

Boil (hops in pellet form):
2.5 oz. - Columbus  (14%)     @60
2.5 oz. - Warrior  (15%)      @30
2.0 oz. - Simcoe (13%)        @15
2.5 oz. - Centennial (10%)    Whirlpool
2.0 oz. - Simcoe (13%)        Whirlpool
1.5 oz. - Amarillo (8.5%)     Whirlpool

Dry Hopped: 
3.0 oz. - Columbus (14%)
2.0 oz. - Simcoe (13%)
2.0 oz. - Amarillo (8.5%)

Yeast – USE STARTER:
WLP001 California Ale

Special Instructions:
First round of hops added on day 6: .75 Columbus/.5 Simcoe/.5 Amarillo per five gallon fermenter.
