This beer is the Yoda’s Yuletide from 2019. It’s our first attempt to replicate a beer. We swore we wouldn’t do Yoda’s Yuletide again, as it pushes our current system to its limits. However, when your mom says she really likes that beer and wants it for Christmas, you do what you need to do to make mom happy. Our only tweak this go round is that we soaked the cherries in Tito’s vodka. It “might” have added a little warmth, but taste wise, I wouldn’t be able to tell you the difference between the two. It was easier than pasteurizing on the stove top though.

As for Al Bundy… I think as a kid, I thought the show was pretty dumb. Now that I’m older, I know the show was pretty dumb, but there is a lot more humor around the marriage jokes that I comprehend. I think this show was one of the best examples of sarcasm comedy during our time.  Ed O’Neil expresses so much with a simple sigh.

Once fermentation is complete, move to cold crash for two days. During this time, soak the 9 lbs of cherries in Tito’s. This will allow the cherries to be sanitized. After cold crash is complete, move to secondary vessel and add hop bag of cherries with light oak spindle. Include the vodka / cherry juice to the vessel. Let sit in room temperature (72 degree) area for five – seven days to pick up the cherry flavor.
